We've all been experiencing tough times financially these days. So, in trying to maximize what is left of the season here in Florida, we are taking it one day at a time. Getting the cars on the road one at a time, building up affiliate work, doing some comp jobs for publicity and to get noticed, and playing up the vintage 1950 something white (original) Stretched de Soto... and waiting for the phone to ring while doing a little cleaning in the office and filing and all that boring stuff.
Last week, I was sick passing kidney stones and I described it to my friends as walking in sand with my head in the clouds because I wasn't getting very far but every part of me was struggling to make it through ONE DAY: one hour at a time, one minute at a time... I felt like I was treading water and slowly sinking. Not a good week.
This week, I feel more like my not-so-old-but-definitely-rusty self. So, lesson learned: Financial problems come and go, kidney stones do as well, but they come with extreme physical pain and suffering! Money is nice, however, health trumps money. You can't make money if you don't feel well so take care of yourselves and take one day at a time and things will eventually turn around for the better...
Life is a circle.
