Technology Providers at the LCT Show

For me, I made a few rounds of the floor at the show and I was happy to see that the software for the ground transportation industry was well represented - LimoAnywhere, GT3, EasyTrip and many others all had a good presence at the show.

What this showed me is, that the as I came to understand some of the differences between the vendors and their offerings is that the ground transport industry is being well served - with proven (read old) technology.

What I got from talking to people is that it is ready for a change - the practice of binding people to proprietary hardware, closed networks and expensive contracts needs to change.

I went with corporatecaronline. The software is web based, newely updated, and has all the features you could need. Plus the guys I deal with make me laugh every time I call. Imagine if you called your local cable provider for support and they made you laugh instead of wanting to choke them through the phone. Anyway, the paperwork said it was a one year contract, but when I questioned them about it they said I could cancel anytime as long as I gave a month notice. Great company. Very happy so far.
